Aihe (meaning dolphin in Maori) is Stewart Island and Rakiura National Park’s new water taxi, launched in December 2007. It is fully owned and operated by Ruggedy Range™ Wilderness Experience.

Aihe provides Small Group Eco Charters & Cruises, sightseeing, sea bird watching, wildlife viewing and guided tours with natural and cultural history interpretation. A marine mammal viewing permit is currently pending.

Trips are at a leisurely pace, so there is time to enjoy wildlife and scenery. Our friendly, experienced skipper and guides will take time to show you key features along the way.

Join us on our new Inlet & Bays Discovery tour, a 3.5 to 4 hours tour of Paterson Inlet including short walks. Tours are personalised to suit the interests of the group.
